Visorium is a personal media server and NAS video player. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how Visorium handles your data.
Visorium operates no server that collects, stores, or receives your personal data. We have no backend and cannot access your data. To provide convenience features across your devices, Visorium uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) and iCloud Keychain on your behalf — all such data is stored only within your own private iCloud account, which Visorium's developers cannot access. See iCloud Sync below.

On iOS, Visorium uses Apple iCloud to synchronize your settings and saved server configurations (such as protocol type, display name, and server address) across your own devices:
All such data resides solely within your own iCloud account. Visorium has no server and its developers have no ability to access, read, or collect this data. iCloud handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. On tvOS, no iCloud sync is performed.
Visorium connects to your own media servers and devices (WebDAV, SMB, FTP/SFTP, NFS, DLNA, and Plex/Emby/Jellyfin) using credentials you provide. These connections are made directly between your device and your servers. Visorium does not act as an intermediary and does not have access to your server passwords.

Visorium is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
